The machine is apparently still running, but attempting to switch to another virtual terminal doesn't do anything, even after I followed a suggestion to add "kern.vty=vt" to /boot/loader.conf. (I've previously asked on the FreeBSD general questions list without success.) It's a Lenovo Edge E520 laptop - see below for the log from Xorg and info from dmesg. Any help in recovering from this disaster would be much appreciated.
