Dear all, I have a Canon BJC-2110 USB printer. I have added the following lines to /boot/loader.conf: usb_load="YES" ulpt_load="YES" This is what shows up in dmesg: uhci0: <VIA 83C572 USB controller> port 0xd400-0xd41f irq 9 at device 4.2 on pci0 usb0: <VIA 83C572 USB controller> on uhci0 usb0: USB revision 1.0 uhub0: VIA UHCI root hub, class 9/0, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 1 uhub0: 2 ports with 2 removable, self powered ugen0: Intel Corporation Intel(r) PC Camera CS630, rev 1.10/1.00, addr 2 ulpt0: Canon BJC-2100, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 3, iclass 7/1 uhci1: <VIA 83C572 USB controller> port 0xd000-0xd01f irq 9 at device 4.3 on pci0 usb1: <VIA 83C572 USB controller> on uhci1 usb1: USB revision 1.0 uhub1: VIA UHCI root hub, class 9/0, rev 1.00/1.00, addr 1 uhub1: 2 ports with 2 removable, self powered When I do a "lptest > /dev/ulpt0" there is no response from the printer. I know the printer works under Windows 2000. Are there any other things I missed or any suggestions on how I may get this printer up and running under FreeBSD 4.5? Thanks! -Mark _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
