I am trying to run kernel ppp on my laptop but I have trouble finding how my modem is connected the ppp0 device is there but I do not know hot to access it I think the default is cuaa1 (com1) and I think that is the port in the replicator on the back of my laptop.
I'm new to this and I dont know what to do to findout how to access my modem so I can use it for kernel ppp.
please help.
