I've fixed the problem with the following workaround:

exec.prestop   =3D "ifconfig ${epair}b -vnet $name";

This is taken nearly verbatim from the link I just posted.

$name in the command above can be either the name of the jail or the jail i=
d.

This is a bug in the VNET cleanup code and it's necessary to remove the epa=
ir
interface from the jail before stopping it.
