https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=192341 Bug ID: 192341 Summary: sysutils/munin-node is missing dependency to www/p5-libwww Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: Needs Triage Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Infrastructure Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: fbsd@shoggothmedia.com The port sysutils/munin-node (v2.0.17_1) has nginx status and requests count plugins which in turn require Perl class LWP::UserAgent which is provided by www/p5-libwww. This port is not installed as a dependency of munin-node. I have no idea why this is so, could be some adverse effects of the lib that I'm not aware of (I'm not a Perl developer), because this dependency dropout is happening on some Linux distributions as well But it might be good idea to introduce a knob for sysutils/munin-node configuration asking if the user requires www/p5-libwww (as required by nginx plugins). Or maybe a set of knobs could be introduced where users could select which (groups of) plugins to install too, and if nginx is selected, then pull in this dep as well? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
