I have a MFS mounted at /tmp, at 32MB. Is it really faster than regular disks? I haven't really seen any improvement, and I'm not sure if I am doing it right. In /etc/fstab, I have: /dev/da1s1f none swap sw 0 0 /dev/da1s1f /tmp mfs rw,nosuid,nodev,noatime,async 0 0 /dev/da1s1f is a 32MB disklabel on a 9.1GB UltraWide (40MB/sec) drive.
