but with some kind of guarantee attached to it due to their setup.

Having a distname that's v2.4.2.tar.gz makes it next to impossible to deter=
mine
origin and content without start to dig and lets play with the thought that=
 you
have 30+ ports using the same naming schema. What happens when you have two
ports sharing the same versioning? Simply, it'll clash and cause all sorts =
of
issues.
