Can you be kind enough to help me with this. Hi, A leased line ussually needs some changes to the defaults, since the line is always 'open'. It looks a bit like a nullmodem connection between 2 hosts. My guess is to strip the following commands from /etc/ppp/options: crtscts modem (passive) (not sure) Your modem might also require an init string to set it to leased line mode, if so, you'll need to change your dial script to set it to the mode. I never did this myself, so some configuration files and the output of the commands you use are appreciated :) > > Thanks. > > Sunil. > > _________________________________________________________________ > Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. > http://www.hotmail.com > > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message Gr,` -- Axel Scheepers UNIX System Administrator email: axel@axel.truedestiny.net a.scheepers@iae.nl http://axel.truedestiny.net/~axel ------------------------------------------ Menu, n.: A list of dishes which the restaurant has just run out of. ------------------------------------------ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
