If you don't, make one with /dev/MAKEDEV If that still fails: 3 - you need to have bpf support compiled in to your kernel. Recompile the kernel with: pseudo-device bpfilter 1 in the psuedo devices list. Note that these are listed from easiest to most time consuming.
