I found a spell checking extension; but it doesn't include a thesaurus. There are some thesaurus dictionaries; but they include crummy instructions on how to install them. Weird that in previous installations all this stuff was automatically configured by the ports tree. > Thank you for your communications. > > -Neil > The main reason I upgraded to OOo-311 was to have a functional spellchecker. I can't find any, even tho but clicking around I found ``en_US.oxt'' which is a zip file. The HElp file does not jibe with what's there in the File -> Wizards ... . Anyway, Adam, the extension you listed turns out to be the file I downloaded. How-to install the thing and get it working!? gary > > > > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" -- Gary Kline kline@thought.org http://www.thought.org Public Service Unix http://jottings.thought.org http://transfinite.thought.org The 7.79a release of Jottings: http://jottings.thought.org/index.php
