Heavy usage seems to kill it (for example doing a make). At first, errors reading files (syntax errors in compiles) then later it starts printing inodes errors and such and disk check utility can't fix it and finally it won't boot up properly. I have no problems at all with 3.x and I am now running 3.5.1 on it (works great!).
