Why not?
My whole xinitrc.desktop looks like:

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8
Name=Xinitrc
Comment=Xinitrc
Exec=$HOME/.xinitrc
TryExec=$HOME/.xinitrc
Icon=
Type=Application

So what is the meaning of TryExec?
Are these fields documented somewhere?
