FreeBSD 4.3 here. Errr, well, just in case the answer is yes, i compiled kernel with pcm and csa, i rebooted, i cat /dev/sndstat'd and reported me what its suppose to report (can't paste right now), i cd /dev'd and sh MAKEDEV snd0 and agan reported no errors but well... it just doesn't sound heh, im using KDE, i think i read on IRC that it might cause problem, dunno.
