Newbies won't necessarily know how to download the script, or what to do with it. And if they just get a 2.2.6 disk, they won't know that such a script exists. That's why a sticker on the disk would be a good idea. Alternatively, an install feature that diplays a dynamic "readme" from a server out on the Net might be a good way to inform them. But there are two problems with the latter approach. First, the user's machine might not be ON the Net yet.
