Can you tell me who told you to look for the OSS sound driver
so that you can use your Sound Blaster 16 PnP?

You can use your SB16 PnP by installing Sujal's PnP package.
It is available from the ftp site ftp://rah.star-gate.com/pub/FreeBSD-PnP .. something
