Hmm, I was using 2.2.2 cvsup'd to date and the last date I had the FAQ and
handbook in /usr/src was May 24th. As of

 Edit src/share/doc/Makefile
  Add delta 1.9.2.3 97.05.26.16.45.36 jfieber
  Add delta 1.9.2.4 97.05.26.16.53.23 jfieber
 Delete src/share/doc/handbook/Makefile
...

the handbook and FAQ src's seem to have been removed from the RELENG_2_2 tree
for cvsup users.
