  Both of these things are going to be retired, and replaced with the new
CAM stuff.

  You should look over the CAM docs in regards to the new tape and changer
stuff.  If it doesn't do what you want, you should develop from the CAM
SCSI code, not the 2.2.6-stable SCSI code.
