Well, since you asked, yes, I do. Longer answer is that this check does not cost too much, gives the upstream correct idea and pointers where to look if they (hopefully) want to merge the patch, and thus will probably go away naturally when the time comes. I really don't like FreeBSD turning into Windows in a sense how pushy we've recently started to act towards our users on forcing them to upgrade their perfectly fine FreeBSD installations. :-( ./danfe
