https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D253707 Bug ID: 253707 Summary: x11-servers/xorg-server: Keyboard does not work under Hyper-V, but mouse does Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Reporter: nc@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(x11@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 222653 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D222653&action= =3Dedit Xorg log I'm trying to install FreeBSD in a Hyper-V VM, and have installed Xorg. I can use the keyboard in the console, and the mouse in Xorg. However, I ca= nnot use the keyboard in Xorg. This happens on 12.2-RELEASE and 13.0-BETA3. Attached is the Xorg log and the "libinput list-devices" output. Hyper-V is running on Windows 10 LTSC 2019 on a machine from work. Since th= is machine is heavily locked down and doesn't let me dual-boot or let me insta= ll third party apps, I can't use VirtualBox or anything else. I can create VMs with Hyper-V and sideload a FreeBSD ISO. This locked-down system is the only way to log in when I go on-call in April/May. At the same time, my home systems which dual-boot Windows 10 and FreeBSD-CURRENT only have a Windows 10 Home license which lacks Hyper-V. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
