I have the same problem with running = 4GB of RAM on=20 FreeBSD 4.4
Hardware is a DELL Poweredge 2550, dual = 1.2GHZ,=20 RAID 0 with 5 SCSI disks, and 4 - 1GB memory
sticks.
 
2GB works well, but 4GB gets the panic: = swap_pager_swap_init: swap_zone=3DNULL.
 
I have tried tunning a kernel to NKPT = =3D 64, and=20 NKTP =3D 128, but no luck.
Also tried options DISABLE_PSE in=20 kernel.
 
Have you guys found a better = solution?
