The set up is as follows: I have a Windows LAN running TCPIP connected to the FreeBSD box. The BSD system is used to make a PPP link to the internet provider and route packets between the LAN and the internet. The problem I have is that the unix box seems to only be sending the packets out but not receiving anything back. I have compiled the kernel with the options GATEWAY line but it still doesn't seem to work. I use iij-ppp to establish the PPP link. Any suggestions for configuring this would be greatly appreciated. thanks ========================================================================= Carey Nairn ! email : Carey.Nairn@its.utas.edu.au Networks and Communications ! phone : (002) 20 7419 Information Technology Services ! fax : (002) 20 7898 University of Tasmania. ! =========================================================================
