Hi All I updated to 4.4-RC on 22 Aug, and after buildworld and kernel (both of which worked fine), I realised that my ftp speed is down to a rediculous 500Bps. I'm on a LAN with a proxy. All access is through the proxy. When accessing the local FreeBSD ftp mirror, I get the 500Bps speed. With Windows 2000, I can get as much as 40K/sec (during the same time periods). But when I access ftp sites within the LAN (not via proxy), I get the normal 200-800K/sec speed with both FreeBSD and Win. Is there some setting that was not there before in 4.3-release? I compiled the miibus into my kernel, (as described in UPDATING) as I use the ed0 interface. I've also copied /usr/src/etc/pam.conf to /etc/pam.conf ... Any help is greatly appreciated.
