I am not sure that Ted is a big part of any crowd, but I agree on this coyish stance in general. not so pronounced in FreeBSD camp as it is among OpenBSDers. On one hand they say they are happy to stay low profile/high pro blah blah...; thank you and go away - on another they express their bitterness with anger when there was no help offered at an appropriate time and later on somebody greets them with the question: "What's next?". Why do you proselitise at all? Shut down that stupid advocay mail list of yours and stay a real sect.
