I've installed FreeBSD 2.2.5. I selected that all should be installed.
When I set
LANG=sv_SE.ISO_8859-1
I get the response (exampel from what perl5 says):
perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
LC_ALL = (unset),
LANG = "sv_SE.ISO_8859-1"
are supported and installed on your system.
perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").
I get similar responses from emacs. Is there no support for locale in
FreeBSD? Or have defined something incorrectely?
Sincerely yours
Mats Dufberg
