I'm running DNS as primary for several domains and secondard for several domains, and I'm seeing a dozen or so log entries per day like the following: Jun 26 05:52:01 lilbuddy named[2378]: denied query from [17.254.0.151].32779 for "ns1.mrtoads.com" IN Jun 26 05:52:01 lilbuddy named[2378]: denied query from [17.254.0.151].32779 for "mrtoads.com" IN Jun 26 06:06:56 lilbuddy named[2378]: denied query from [209.244.5.12].53 for "zmrzlina.com" ANY zmrzlina.com is a domain that I am primary DNS for, and mrtoads.com is a domain that I am secondary DNS for. This doesn't appear to correspond to any real loss of service for anyone, but I'm curious what the meaning of these entries is? I have transfers and queries turned off for everyone but those who need it. Could that have something to do with it?
