I originally installed freebsd on slice 1, but have now moved it using dump/restore to slice 4. This process caused the following problem during booting: Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad0s4a ad0s1: raw partition size != slice size ad0s1: start 63, end 62495, size 62433 ad0s1c: start 63, end 14335775, size 14335713 ad0s1: truncating raw partition ad0s1: rejecting partition in BSD label: it isn't entirely within the slice ad0s1: start 63, end 62495, size 62433 ad0s1a: start 63, end 131134, size 131072 ad0s1: rejecting partition in BSD label: it isn't entirely within the slice .... ad0s1h: start 7217215, end 10944574, size 3727360 Any suggestions how to resolve this minor issue?. thanks Jeff To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
