While I generally *hate* frames, email lists are the one place It was a `proof of concept' for a small, fast and scaling mailing list index program. Don't expect wonders from a 100 line perl script! All the other known programs (hypermail, MHonarc etc.) are broken by design and will not work with big lists. Indexing all old freebsd mailing lists on hub took real 15m27.229s user 3m58.444s sys 0m14.936s for 932MB data.
