I thought the above would track 4-stable in perpetuity. Yes. But 4-stable doesn't stay 4.0-stable forever. It becomes 4.1-RELEASE -> 4.1-STABLE, then 4.2, etc. Notice that your release tag only says RELENG_4, not RELENG_4.0 or anything like that. Rahul.
