Yes, I extracted it from the latest ports.tar.gz I could find (mirror at ftp.ca.freebsd.org). But I did nuke the old openssh-portable directory as well (after backing it up) and got the same error. I will try Freddie Cash's solution and use CVSup to sync up my ports tree instead of the tarballs. Maybe that will help. All my other ports upgraded without a problem.
