Hello! On my 5.3 Release with Xorg 6.8.1 and Firefox 1.0_6,1 the latter crashes when viewing Flashsites. Linuxpluginwrapper and linux-flashplugin is installed. Also in xorg.conf: Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "Enable" EndSection The Error is: The program 'firefox-bin' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 81 error_code 8 request_code 72 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) This problem can be solved by adding export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 into /usr/X11R6/bin/firefox Could you please add the line in the next verision of Firefox' port? I'm sure, I'm not the only one having this problem, when people begin to upgrade to Xorg 6.8.1. Greetings Lars
