I also upgraded the ports to the latest version (again from a few hours ago). Now the reboot does not occur any more. So this seems to be limited to RELENG_7_1_0_RELEASE. The only thing I still have to solve is how to stop the server from freezing when the mouse is not moved (this problem seems to have been reported by a lot of other people). Also, firefox3 does not start... but I'll probably file another bug report for that.
