fetch cannot access any of the mirrors in the list.  I manually pasted 
the link into mozilla and fetched the pieces by hand from sunet.se. 
 Very frustrating.

I would like to know why ftp.mirror.ac.uk is a black hole that swallows 
up fetch requests and won't let go.  Maybe it should just be removed 
from the master sites listing.

Anyway, since I did the ftp by hand, fetch issues are currently moot.
