I'm trying to use HP Suresore 24e on FreeBSD 4.8-STABLE (Mon May 12 09:32:15 YEKST 2003). The system is installed on Asus P2b-DS motherboard with Adaptec aic7890 onboard scsi-controller. I have 2 SCSI-3 HDDs attached to it: da0: Fixed Direct Access SCSI-3 device da1: Fixed Direct Access SCSI-3 device and I'trying to use a SCSI-CD Sony CDU415. I use the following ID configuration: 0 - IBM DDYS-T18350N 1 - IBM DDYS-T09170N 5 - HP Surestore 24e 6 - Sony CDU415 7 - aic7890 With IDs set that way the controller itself detects all hardware properly. But. When booting FreeBSD after log entry "Wainting 15 seconds for SCSI devices to settle" I recieve lot of output which looks very scarry. Then FreeBSD boots up, but CD is not working and disk system works very unstable. Can anyone help me in that situation ? below I send the sample of such output. The sample was taken from different IDs configuration- but I experimented this norning - nothing changed. === Cut === 0xd9800000-0xd981ffff,0xda000000-0xda000fff irq 11 at device 12.0 on pci0 fxp1: Ethernet address 00:02:b3:b5:67:1e inphy1: on miibus1 inphy1: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto orm0:
