Try "dig cvsup8.freebsd.org" and "dig cvsup2.freebsd.org" cvsup8.freebsd.org's IP-address is not resolvable right now. (That's not really correct. cvsup8 points to another name, cvsup.bigmirror.com, and *that* name is not resolvable.) If using a different mirror doesn't work, then I'm all out of ideas :( Sorry I couldn't help you any further.
