Would be interesting to know if that has changed. NetBSD/pc98 has not yet merged into the NetBSD tree and was released separatedly by NetBSD/pc98 developer like PC-98 version of FreeBSD. NetBSD/pc98 people think unames of PC-AT and PC-98 should be different from each other and `i386' is not suitable for showing PC-AT architecutre because `i386' shows architecutre of processors. They proposed changing i386 into something different from it before or during merging PC-98 codes. As far as I know, NetBSD people who try to merge NetBSD/pc98 agree with this. -----------------------------------------------+--------------------------+ KATO Takenori | FreeBSD | Center for Chronological Research, Nagoya Univ.| The power to serve! | Nagoya, 464-8602, Japan | http://www.FreeBSD.org/ | |http://www.jp.FreeBSD.org/| ++++ FreeBSD(98) 4.4R-Rev. 01 available! +==========================+ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-arch" in the body of the message
