No biggie, but atleast i have a working system! Really? That's most unfortunate. :( Other parts of the boot code on x86 assume packet mode at this point as well. I think at least boot2 will also need a compile-time tweak (but I think you can set it in your make.conf for your build) to disable packet mode. -- John Baldwin
