Because there are so many knowledgable people on this list, I ask whether the following problem is known, which I have: When doing a verify in the BIOS of the AHA1542C, I get lots of errors. Is this normal? Then I low-level-formatted the drive (again with the supplied BIOS routines), but it did not help: again verify errors. Is there anything known about this type of drive? 1.5 years ago I had a 1 gig Conner SCSI drive with similiar problems. I thought I could give Conner a chance again ;) Thanks in advance. Robert
