The only missing link is the mechanism used to convert images from format to format. Right now, the Makefiles still use ImageMagick, because it's trivial to write using the convert(1) program. When I get some more time I'll break it down to the bare minimum required to do the conversion -- when that's done, this should be good enough to go mainstream. It's documented now in the primer, in section 4.2.6. That change hasn't propogated out to the web site yet, but will do in a few hours. Please take the time to test it out, and beat up on the infrastructure stuff. It's been moderately tested, but probably needs more work. N -- Internet connection, $19.95 a month. Computer, $799.95.
