We have recently announced a full suite of serial support for FreeBSD. Our high performance serial controllers run up to T1 speeds (V.35, RS-449) and we support Cisco Serial Protocol, PPP, X.25 and Frame Relay. There is no comparable product for LINUX (the Linux people have been swamping us with requests, but we wanted to use FreeBSD internally because we think it is a much better product). WAN networking is VERY important these days. Dennis Emerging Technologies, Inc.
