Thanks for the info.  I downloaded and installed the XSuSE_Elsa_GLoria X
server and it seems to be working except for one problem.  I sent a message
to the folks at suse.com, but they won't support this server under FreeBSD.

After I start the server, using 'startx', the first keystroke or moving the
mouse causes the mouse pointer to move to the upper left corner of the
screen and "stick" there.  Although I cannot move the mouse pointer, I can
interact via keyboard with the active XTerm window.

I have tried all variations on mouse/keyboard options when configuring the
server and it doesn't make a difference.  The system configuration is as
follows:

Dell XPS R400 (400MHz Pentium II)
128MB RAM
Diamond Fire GL 1000 Pro video with 8MB SGRAM
Microsoft IntelliMouse

Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
