Ok I know the reason now. vfs-daemon --oaf-activate-iid=3DOAFIID:GNOME_VFS_Daemon_Factory --oaf-ior-fd=3D28 Sometimes on startup, two vfs-daemon processes are started. Is one of these parameters a unique id? Because both processes have exact same parameters. Killing the second one (which hangs while pegging the cpu) will allow nautilus to start up. This is happening 2 out of 3 times for me, on startup. Any reasons why this is happening to me? And what I can do to find out more about it? --W/nzBZO5zC0uMSeA Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/z/UcDAqnLW/+/X8RAoTYAKC6W94F8uRCEVJqtYkfZc8dyycJcwCfa7+6 FSl/OCgT3wrhqskYHnE0D+w= =+KAP -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --W/nzBZO5zC0uMSeA--
