Hi there I have just teoretical question. I have DVD-RW burner Teac DV-W50 in external box connected throught firewire to my PC with W2k. If I connect this box to FreeBSD 5.x based PC, will I could burn CDs & DVDs on it? I was looking at FreeBSD/i386 5.2.1-RELEASE Hardware Notes, but can not find answer. Many CD/DVD burners are in umass(4) driver list with note "CDROM only" or "CDROM, DVDRAM only" No one in IEEE 1394 list. Thanks for reply or link to some page about this and sorry for my bad english. -- Miroslav Lachman Webapplication Developer
