I would like to scan maps (topographical) for research purposes. After scanning, I would like to paste some geolocial elements, like coloured planes etc. This could be performed with Corel, but how to do this task und UNIX/FreeBSD? Any suggestions? The system should be able to put together many sepeately scanned pieces of a map to achieve a complete one. Thanks, Oliver -- MfG O.
