There seems to be quite a bit of variability in this. Some people have
no troubles, some can't get it working. I'm one of the people who can't
get it working. I have the AGP driver builtin, and anything over 4.0.1
crashes every time I switch consoles.

This is a testament to the variability of Intel hardware, I suppose.
