Ah, you mean, you disabled the driver, and it caused a false probe
nevertheless???

The hint about disabling probes for all the device that are not
present is in the installation documentation since FreeBSD 2.0.5, and
i think there's even an emphasize on the mcd driver since too many
people have experienced this problem.
