I created the slice ad1s2 on my second disk which
already has ad1s1, a freebsd slice on it. I wanted to
create some partitions on my new slice so I gave the
command

disklabel -e ad1 

and got the following error

ad1s2: cannot find label(no disklabel)
disklabel: can't create /tmp/EdDk.qpo0t0vo15

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
