The overall fit-and-finish of the hardware is nice, the keyboard fits well, and the 14.1 inch TFT display is bright. While FreeBSD (4.3-R) works mostly (it boots quickly & the internal Ethernet port is configured), the downsides are significant: (1) APM suspends fail upon resume. (2) XFree86-4.1.0 appears to hang the console before it leaves text mode in the calling virtual console. I would be quite interested in keeping this notebook, if I were able to get APM suspend/resume and X to work reliably. Pointers, hints, and/or suggestions that might lead me to solutions to these show-stoppers will be greatly appreciated. -- Gary Rafe rafege@switchboard.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
