I have a home network with my = FreeBSD machine and two SPARC Stations. I want to mount certain = directories from the SPARC boxes to my FreeBSD machine. I can mount = directories between the two SPARC boxes with no problem whatsoever. = However, when I attempt to mount a directory from Solaris to FreeBSD I = get the following error:=20 RPCMNT clnt_create : RPC Program not registred I made the necessary changes to /etc/rc.conf to enable the NFS client. A = quick=20 ps -x reveals that nsiod is indeed running. When I do an rpcinfo against the = FreeBSD box it only shows that portmapper and amd are running. Shouldn't = I see nsiod on this list? I have to imagine that I am doing something = wrong. I know that nfsd is running on the SPARC box because rpcinfo = informs me of this quite readily.=20 Any help in this regard would be much appreciated. I did peruse the mail = archives and I noticed that a few others have had this problem but I = never found a solution.=20 Again, thanks.=20 Weston ------=_NextPart_000_022B_01C24B98.BDB2D080 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=3DContent-Type content=3D"text/html; = charset=3Diso-8859-1"> <META content=3D"MSHTML 6.00.2716.2200" name=3DGENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=3D#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2>Hello,</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=3DArial size=3D2> I recently installed = FreeBSD=20 4.6.
