I can't sucessfully install my Freebsd5r because of none graphric chipset support. My graphric chipset is Intel 830m in my notebook Toshiba Satellite1200 series. I tried the VGA and XGA that can display only 256 color. Can I have any further advise in order to tackle this problem. Thank you for your help. I do not know if it is supported or not by X, but the easy way to check would be to run 'XFree86 -configure'. X will automatically configure it's self then. After that all you have to do is test the config and if it works move it and edit the monitor and screen settings.
