Whle folks may disagree with me, I've had *really* good luck with the
USR Sportsters, and they are pretty cheap.  You can get the white ones
(w/out voice mail) for $210 from MicroSystemsWarehouse, which is a good
deal.

What gives you the idea that this printer wouldn't work?  Does it use a
Parallel port and/or a serial port, which are both supported under
FreeBSD?
